I’m Debbie, the photographer behind Lucky Thirteen. I’m a writer at heart, endlessly drawn to old places, wild landscapes, beautiful light, and the tiny human moments that often go unnoticed. Photography became the way I could hold onto them—the laughter, nerves, gestures, and glances that make every story entirely its own.
On a wedding day, I’m equal parts quiet observer and steady presence. I’ll give you thoughtful direction when you need it, help keep the day moving when things become chaotic, and know when to step back and let a moment unfold naturally. I care deeply about creating photographs that are beautiful, but even more about making sure they feel like you.
For nearly a decade, I’ve had the privilege of preserving stories in all their messy, romantic, unexpected glory. Based in Maine and available throughout England and beyond, I’d be honored to write yours with light.

I believe your wedding should feel like your life—not a performance for the camera. The photographs that matter most are often found between the expected moments: the breath before the aisle, a hand reaching for another, laughter that interrupts the pose, and the people you love gathered in one place.
I believe in gentle direction, honest emotion, beautiful light, and leaving room for the unexpected. Your photographs should be artful, but never at the expense of truth. They should bring you back—not only to how the day looked, but to how it felt.
